Brighton and Hove Recovery Service

Community is at the heart of everything we do. Our team consists of volunteers, health workers and psychologists. However, we also recognise the importance of lived experience in our team and encourage people who access our services to get involved with us, or other groups that work alongside us in Brighton and Hove.

Peer mentors

Many of our volunteers have lived experience of homelessness or drug and alcohol issues, and now support and inspire others as peer mentors.

If you’d like to become a peer mentor, please get in touch by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].

We provide free training, after which you will be supported to start helping others who are struggling with their addictions or homelessness. We support you fully in your role and your own journey, whether that’s going into employment, further education or anything else you may choose to do.
