How we can help

We offer a range of support for parents and families affected by substance use, including group work, family work, and one-to-one work.

We aim to provide a non-judgemental support service and recognise how scary and intimidating it can be for parents to access support.

We know that for parents, where substance use is present, there is a lot of fear about the impact on their children and family. Our aim is to support parents to overcome these fears and create a safe and stable environment for their family as well as rebuild the bonds often damaged by addiction.

We want to support parents to build a strong foundation for their recovery to enable them to work towards moving forward in their lives, building their confidence and self-esteem, and progressing to achieve their goals.

For some families we work with, where children have been affected by addiction, we can offer direct one to one work with them. We recognise the importance of hearing the voices of the children we work with and therefore we use a variety of tools and therapeutic techniques to support this process.

We also offer dedicated support for pregnant people, and a specialist service offering a range of support for anyone affected by domestic abuse.
