Volunteers can take on various responsibilities, including administrative tasks, providing support to individuals in recovery, and working within the criminal justice system, among others.
There are plenty of opportunities available, suitable for everyone.

Most volunteer positions do not require specific qualifications, as we provide training and support for success. We simply ask that volunteers be kind, open-minded, and passionate about helping others.

Overdose & Naloxone Training
Learn how they to use Naloxone to save someone's life in the event of overdose.
We explore types of drug overdose, why they happen and what we can do to prevent it. We'll also take a look at nasal naloxone and how to administer it safely. This session will be delivered by Gary, one of the experienced Harm Reduction Workers for Change Grow Live Manchester.
Drug Awareness Training
Training aimed at professionals in Manchester working with people impacted by drugs, to raise awareness and understanding of current issues.
In this session we cover basic drug education, exploring the most commonly used drugs in the UK and raising awareness of their effects. The content is up-to-date with what we identify as the main trends in Manchester. Delivered by Gary, one of Change Grow Live Manchester's experienced Harm Reduction Worker.

This session is designed for steroid users to get harm reduction advice, support, and information about our free needle exchange and blood tests. It will be delivered by an experienced Harm Reduction Worker from Change Grow Live Manchester, Gary.

Aimed at professionals in the Manchester area who want to learn how to minimise the harmful and risky behaviours associated with substances.
A comprehensive overview of needle exchange, injecting drug use, how to identify injecting-related injuries, tips for safer injecting and more. Also discusses harm reduction concepts more generally, relevant to different substances. This session will be delivered by Gary, one of Change Grow Live's Harm Reduction Worker.
