The following resources may be helpful to healthcare professionals who are supporting people struggling with drug or alcohol across a range of services:

We work alongside a range of healthcare professionals to provide prescribing support. We are not an emergency service but our duty prescriber at Gateshead Recovery Partnership can be contacted if clinical advice is needed via our switchboard on 0191 5947821 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Training
Naloxone Training Drop In
We offer a monthly training session on overdose awareness and naloxone, the drug that temporarily reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.
The training session can be booked via Eventbrite or by calling 0191 5927821 to book a space.
General Training
We provide training and awareness session across the Gateshead Community. Each training package is tailored to the needs of the audience and can include drug and alcohol awareness, harm minimisation, and naloxone training. Open Day Events
We hold regular open days at Gateshead Recovery Partnership where we open the service to anyone who would like to come in and find out more about what we do and how we support individuals, their families and the wider community. Upcoming open day dates will be posted here and on our Facebook page.
