Recovery Service - Stockton

Tim struggled with poly-substance misuse, and he attempted many different methods to break free from his addiction. In 2022, he was hospitalised for sepsis and abscess and told he wouldn't make it through the night. After support from Change Grow Live and Recovery Connections, he is now employed by Recovery Connections as a Community Coach.

Many of our staff and volunteers have lived experience of accessing support – including Jon, who completed our ambassador course after achieving 6 months abstinence. Now, Jon uses his knowledge and creativity from the music industry, to support us as Marketing and Communications Lead.
