We have lots of groups and courses at our service. They are a great way to socialise, meet other people in recovery and learn new skills.

Monday

The Café brings Recovery into the community and is a chance for people seeking Recovery to meet with like-minded peers, enjoy a cuppa and some light bites. An opportunity to talk to Recovery Service staff members and volunteers, have fun, socialise in a safe environment & take part in recovery groups and activities.

Tuesday
Foundations of Change helps us to further understand and change our addictive behaviours. The day programme runs in 4-week blocks and consists of the Foundations of Change sessions in the mornings followed by a range of recovery and recreation activities in the afternoons. Speak to your keyworker if you would like to attend this group.

SMART Recovery's 4-Point Program® helps people recover from all types of addictive behaviours, including: alcoholism, drug abuse, substance abuse, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, cocaine addiction, and addiction to other substances and activities. SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is not a 12-step group, like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Call the office to book your place for this group.
A peer support group hosted by our colleagues from Wellbeing Scotland. This group provides a safe space for survivors of trauma to come together over a 6-week rolling programme. It covers topics such as self-esteem & confidence, identifying self-management skills, and managing stress.

Café style community group. Join us for a cuppa and a chat and get support from peers and facilitators. The coffee club offers a source of information about other recovery and wellbeing support services. This is held at the Bathgate office and is an open group.

A therapeutic compassion-focused support group to empower women. The group's objective is to provide a safe, confidential, and empathic space to explore and gain support with issues specific to women within treatment. Within a shared learning experience, women can share and gain support to identify, discuss, and achieve solution-focused treatment to improve their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Speak to your worker about attending this group.
