Wear Recovery - Sunderland
Welcome to Aspire Team.
We believe that it is better to take action before harm occurs and offer a 12-week intervention to support people to make positive behaviour changes.
We work closely with individuals to develop tools and techniques that are needed to implement changes, as well building confidence to maintain those changes. Over 12 weekly sessions you will meet with your coordinator to work through the following areas:
- Readiness to change - attitudes to alcohol/drug use and reasons for change
- The effects of alcohol and substance use on your physical and emotional wellbeing
- Urges and cravings and how to deal with them
- The cost of alcohol and drugs - how much you will save and the benefits of saving money
- Recovery planning and this will support you moving forward
- Discover SMART goals and how to set these
