Wize Up - Havering

Becky

A blonde woman smiling at the cameraHi everyone, I’m Becky and I am the Team Leader for Wize Up Havering. I previously worked as the resilience worker for Wize Up for four years, counselling and supporting young people with their substance misuse. I’m very passionate about the service, and I now manage an amazing team so we can all support the young people of Havering together. In my spare time, I like to share lots of laughter with loved ones, travel to new places, and enjoy long walks by the sea with my miniature sausage dog!

Hannah

A brunette haired woman smiling at the cameraHello, I’m Hannah 😊 I am the Children and Families Worker for Wize Up, the CGL’s YP service in Havering. I am so pleased to be a part of this wonderful team! This role allows me the opportunity to support children and young people in finding and expressing their voices. I feel passionately about the work we do at Wize Up; it is incredible to be a part of an organisation which has humanity at its heart.

In my spare time I like to write poems, short stories, and songs. I love the outdoors and try to take advantage of the warmer weather to go camping. I also think you can’t beat a cup of tea and good film!

Brogan

A woman with red hair smiling at the cameraHey, I’m Brogan and I am the Young Persons Resilience Worker for the Youth Justice Service. I enjoy working with young people involved in the Criminal Justice System to provide support with their substance misuse by helping young people to realise their potential and to empower them to make positive and safe choices with drugs. In my spare time, I like to go hiking with my friends, practice MMA and watch horror films on my sofa with my Siamese cats!

Katie

A dark haired woman smiling at the cameraHi everyone, I’m Katie! I work with all the schools in Havering as a Resilience Worker. You may have seen me in your school doing group work or a presentation! My main goal is to help young people learn more about different substances, their effects, risks, and, most importantly, how to stay safe. I am all about helping young people to make positive choices and feel empowered! I’m far too chatty, so please feel free to ask me any questions!

Outside of work, you can find me watching Netflix with my dog Maggie or getting stuck into a new creative project; find me some paint, and I’ll be away!
