How we can help
We provide support, advice and information to people in Barking and Dagenham who are having problems with drinking or drugs. Whatever your concerns, you'll be listened to and we will tailor the support you get to help you reach your goals and create a happier, healthier life.

We are located a few doors away from Eastbrook school, between houses 811 and 813, through the black gate.
The nearest train station is on the District line, Dagenham East. It is then approximately 15 minute walk or you can get the 103 bus outside the station.

Our service is closed every day between 12:30- 13:00 for lunch.
We are open late on Thursdays.

Your first visit
When you arrive, you'll be welcomed by a member of our team. They'll explain the next steps to you and you can ask any questions you might have about the service. If possible, please could you bring up to date details about your GP.
You're welcome to bring someone with you if you'd like. There are drinks available and if you're waiting for a group or appointment, there are places to sit and leaflets to read. If you have any specific needs, please let us know before your appointment, just give us a call 0208 595 1375
Advice for professionals
We offer advice and support to GPs who have patients with an addiction to medicines.
This includes assessment and treatment for those addicted to opioids. The medicines we cover are opiate-based and painkillers. We can also offer advice on non-opioid based medicines, including benzodiazepines, pregabalin, anti-depressants.
Assessment
The assessment process can take up to an hour so please do allow time for this. Our Recovery Worker will go through an assessment with you to discuss your needs and will work with you to set goals and create a treatment plan that suits you.

We have lots of treatment options to support you. This includes:
- One-to-one support sessions with keyworker
- Groupwork –face to face
- Personalised treatment plan
- Medically assisted treatment including Buvidal
- Testing for Blood Borne Viruses such as Hepatitis B, C and HIV
- Counselling
- Naloxone
- Onward referrals to a range of specialist services
- Criminal Justice support services
- Detox
