About us

River Young People Support Service is a free and confidential service supporting children and young people under 25 in Liverpool who are affected by their own or someone else’s drug or alcohol use.

We work with young people in a way that suits them—whether in-person, over the phone, or online.

Our team also provides advice and support for parents and professionals working with young people in Liverpool.

How we can help

We provide:

  • Friendly, non-judgmental support tailored to your needs.
  • Flexible appointments — we can meet at our hub, your school, college, or another place you feel comfortable.
  • Confidentiality — we’ll keep your information private unless there's a risk of harm to you or someone else.
  • Support for families and professionals — helping parents and carers talk to their children about drugs and alcohol.

You don’t need to be dependent on drugs or alcohol to use our service—we’re here for anyone looking for support.
