Our team will work with you to help you to regain control of your life, tackle your problems and reach your goals, no matter how long it takes.
Everyone is an individual and may require different types of support to reach their goals. Our aim is to give you those options and different pathways to recovery.

Drop-in advice session for any issue that might be worrying you, from housing to debt, benefits to mental health advice, if you’re concerned about something and you’re not sure who to ask, come and see us in the hub every Monday and Friday.
Anyone may attend.
Each meeting stands alone and consists of check in, CBT based Smart tool and check out. The focus is help for addictive behaviour.

Positive Thoughts groups are aimed at anyone that feels they may benefit from changing their thinking pattern and gaining some tools to help build their self-confidence and self-esteem. Group is check in based for the first half. It’s a relaxed safe space for people to explore their thoughts and feelings. The second half of the group is based around a specific topic, sometimes conversationally, sometimes writing tasks, but always interactive.
Anyone may attend.
Tuesday
This group offers support to men, to discuss in a safe place, issues that relate to men. This includes mental health, personal journeys, physical health and uses the Five Ways to Wellbeing. This group is solely for women to feel comfortable and safe to share their recovery journey and/or matters affecting women. It also offers talks from the nurse on various subjects. It consists of a check in, an activity and a check out.
A safe space to offer some enjoyment too with short craft sessions, quizzes, strolls into the local park and an occasional trip out.

The Alcohol Workshop offers a safe place for all service users to explore their issues with alcohol. The group consists of alcohol education, peer connection and a supportive environment for individuals to build self-awareness and promote behavioural change.

The “Just for Today group” is a group that formats itself on the daily reading of one of the mutual aid groups, (Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Alcohol Anonymous, SMART, etc)
The purpose of the group is to encourage services users to attend theses mutual aid groups and we deal with any barriers and myths in the fellowship, or any support needed to encourage SMART or fellowship meetings.

Wednesday
The group provides an option of a cooked or cold breakfast, encouraging service users to connect over a morning meal.

The AA group consists of readings, for example one being a conduct card which is usually at the start of the meeting. Normally after the main share, people have the opportunity to share back anything surrounding alcohol. A member of the chair overseas the meeting.

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to do the same. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop gambling.
Thursday
This is a great opportunity learn to prepare & cook a meal and / or dessert using fresh ingredients under guidance the of Creative Remedies. Maximum 4 service users per session.
Location: Service User Kitchen (Bold Street)
The drop in is for anyone who has issues with housing. We can help with their ‘Under One Roof’ account which needs to be active before you can be considered for a social housing, flat or house.
We can assist with benefits which is important for housing due to UC paying the rent. We can liaise with Housing Plus and also support anyone who gets put in temporary housing via Housing Plus too. We can help anyone who is facing eviction or have property repair issues.

Friday
Pathways Ramblers group is a walking group, where clients can venture out into the countryside and engage together in an environment away from the day-to-day treatment centre.
Packed lunch and suitable walking shoes are required.
Walks include different degrees of difficulty and various locations around the Northwest.

This is a mutual aid support meeting where, through open and confidential discussion, we help each other and ourselves with recovery from any type of addictive behaviour. We check in, we explore a SMART Tool and check out.

Facilitated by a Volunteer Veteran Recovery Coordinator. This is an opportunity for Ex-Forces to get together and ‘check in’ with each other. The aim of supporting each other with issues such as mental health, physical health and day to day issues.

This is a facilitated group where service users learn new ways to identify and manage their anger symptoms. The facilitator and service users share positive ways to make the changes in their day to day lives.

Something before the weekend starts. An opportunity to learn and bring out the artistic and creative side of you. All equipment provided. Group facilitated by experts from Creative Remedies.

A group of people experience problems with drugs who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. The word drug means any mind- or mood-altering substance including alcohol.
Saturday is an open NA meeting which means members of the public or people who do not identify as having problems with substance misuse may attend. We use an application of twelve steps of NA to help support people through their recovery journey. The group is fully self-supporting and relies on donations from members of the fellowship.
