Spectrum Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services
Whether you're unsure about managing your alcohol consumption or seeking support for a loved one, our dedicated team is ready to provide free and confidential assistance through telephone or video calls.
We understand that life gets busy, so we're also available during evenings and weekends. Don't hesitate to reach out.
How we can help
We can help you address your drinking and make positive changes during six sessions with an experienced alcohol worker.
These sessions will be held via telephone or video call, so you can discuss your drinking in an environment that’s comfortable and easy for you. We can hold these sessions in the evening and at weekends.
We will explore your relationship with alcohol and the impact on your life. We can then help you to cut back with useful coping strategies and tips to build mental and emotional resilience.
If you find you need extra help, we can also provide more intensive support for your drinking.

Information for professionals
If you’re working with someone who may have a drinking problem, it can be hard to know what treatment is available and suitable for them.
The Alcohol Telecoms team help people who score between 8-19 on an alcohol audit. This means they are increasing their alcohol consumption but not drinking dependently. Alcohol Change has a useful unit calculator.
If someone scores 20 or more on the alcohol audit, they require more intensive support. We will support them in our regular hubs, so please refer them using our online form.
