Training

We provide free training designed for professionals in Nottinghamshire who work across various sectors related to drug and alcohol support, to enhance awareness and understanding.

You can join our online sessions through Eventbrite and Microsoft Teams. Each session covers important subjects like drug and alcohol use, harm reduction, and the services we offer.

To see our available training, learn about each session, and reserve your spot, please visit our Change Grow Live Nottinghamshire Eventbrite training page.

Volunteering

If you want to help other people change their lives, we'd love to have you on the team. Our amazing volunteers help us make a real difference to people’s lives. You'll give people support and inspiration that will help them change their lives for the better.

We welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and we’re grateful to everyone who makes up our charity.

Most of our volunteer opportunities don’t need any special qualifications. We’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, open-minded and passionate about supporting people.

We want as many people as possible to be able to volunteer, whether you’re also working full time, are studying, or retired. Most of our volunteering roles have flexible hours, so you can volunteer in a way that fits around the time you can give.

If you would like to volunteer, take a look at the roles we have available. There will be a description of what each role will be like, and information about how to apply.

Feedback

The people we help and support are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important you have a say in things.

If you’re using one of our services, we want to involve you in decisions about how we can improve the way we do things.

We have a dedicated service user involvement team. It’s made up of service user representatives who represent the views and opinions of the people who use our services in local, regional and national areas of the organisation. They come to management and governance meetings to make sure that the people who use our services always have a voice in the room.

Making sure that everyone has their say helps us try out new ideas, keep you up to date with what’s going on, and makes sure that no one gets left behind.

Get involved and be part of something great!
