Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service - West Kent

If you or someone you know has a drug or alcohol problem, we can point you towards friendly advice and support.
You may have decided to quit, or just need to talk to someone.
You can find all the services and information you need through this website, wherever you are in Kent. Our services are free and confidential.
How we can help
We know that it isn’t easy to take that first step and ask for support.
When you first contact us, one of our team will discuss your challenges and goals with you, and answer any questions you have. We can help you to find the tools you need to meet your goals, as well as any extra support you need along the way.
Additional support
There are other local services that you may be better suited to if you’re a young adult, or if your substance use is low level. There might also be other local services that can support all your needs in addition to your drinking or drug use.
We can discuss this with you and put you in touch with them with your consent, or you can contact them directly to find out more about how they can help you.

Get clean injecting equipment and safer injecting advice
If you take drugs by injecting them, you are more vulnerable to injuries, infections and blood-borne viruses.
Needle and syringe programmes are places where you can get new, clean injecting equipment and advice for staying safe. You can also return any used equipment so that it can be safely disposed of.
See a list of all the needle and syringe programmes in West Kent.
We also offer a postal needle exchange service. You can order free injecting equipment for home delivery using a service called NSPdirect. Just visit the NSPdirect website and use this code: 11 90 00 01 13.
