We will support you on your journey.

We offer a free and confidential one-to-one therapeutic service for children and young people in West Sussex.

The service is available to young people aged 7-18 who have been affected by a parent’s or carer’s substance use.

We offer up to 12 weekly sessions.

We accept self-referrals and referrals from parents, professionals and relevant others. To make a referral, please complete our online form.

About our service

We work in schools, colleges and other community venues, depending on the child's need.

We are a non-judgemental service offering age-appropriate play/arts-based therapy and counselling. We always approach this case-by-case in a sensitive, child-centred way.

All our therapists are fully qualified and individual members of the Counselling and Psychotherapy Professional Bodies (BACP, PTUK or BAAT, abiding by Ethical Frameworks for Good Practice).

We help children and young people to work through and come to terms with what they have experienced and/or are currently going through.

The main aims of our service are to:

  • Improve confidence, self-esteem and mental health.
  • Improve behaviour and engagement with others including attendance in school.
  • Improve communication and family relationships.
  • Provide signposting support to other services.
