We understand that recovery is often more than just linked to alcohol and drugs.

We have a number of other ways in which we can support you and your journey.

Employment support (IPS)

If employment is one of your goals, we can help.

Individual Placement & Support (IPS) is a service that matches people with paid work that they can find rewarding and meaningful.

We believe everyone is capable of doing some work if they want to, and we will support you with this.

If you want to find out more about IPS, speak to your key worker.

Visit our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) page to find out more about Change Grow Live’s employment support services.

Hepatitis C testing and treatment

At our service you can get tested for blood borne viruses including hepatitis C. Our team also includes a specialist from The Hepatitis C Trust who can talk to you about hepatitis and answer any questions you might have.

Tests are quick, simple, and free. Just ask at reception or speak to your recovery coordinator.

If you find out you have hepatitis C, you can access treatment that is easy, effective, and free. You can expect to be free of hepatitis after 1 tablet a day for 12 weeks.

Support for families and carers

We also offer support to family members and carers who have been affected by someone else’s drinking or drug use. This support will be provided by our partners at Emerging Futures.

We have advice on how to support them, whether it’s drugs, alcohol, or their wellbeing you’re concerned about.

Together, we can look at ways you can continue to be a supportive factor in someone’s like, while taking time to focus on your own wellbeing.

If you’re affected by someone else’s substance use and would like some support, please get in touch:

Support for under 18s

If you are under 18 and are concerned about drugs or alcohol, you can get support from our under 18s service We don’t judge, and we won’t tell you what to do.

We are a confidential service who work in a way that suits you, whether that is over the phone, in-person, or online.

We work with people under 18 who are struggling with their own or somebody else’s drug or alcohol use.

We also help parents who would like advice and support around their child’s substance use, and professionals supporting young people in Liverpool.
