Many of our volunteer opportunities are flexible to your availability and the needs of the service and people who use our services, unless stated with the role description.
As a volunteer you are able to claim travel expenses.
Firstly, you will need to complete a short application form. This will help us understand more about you and the skills and qualities you could bring to the role. If you are successful, you will be invited to interview. This is likely to be with our Volunteer Coordinator and members of the Cheshire East Team.
Please remember, we want the interview to be a place for you to shine! We try to create a relaxed environment so we can learn more about you and what you would like to achieve as a volunteer.
Unfortunately, not everyone who applies is successful, sometimes the role and person applying are not quite the right match. As a team, we will always try to give you feedback and encourage you to apply for a different volunteering role within Change Grow Live.
Whatever your background, we would love to hear from you. Applications are accepted and viewed on a case-by-case basis meaning you may still be accepted to volunteer with us. If you have a history of alcohol or substance misuse or any criminal convictions, we’d still encourage you to apply.

Most of our volunteer opportunities don’t need any specific qualifications. We’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, open-minded and passionate about supporting people.
