As a recovery worker or coordinator, you’ll work directly with the people who access our drug and alcohol services. You’ll offer them support, guidance, and advice throughout their journey with us. You will work with people on an individual basis and through group sessions. In many cases, you’ll be the first person someone sits down and chats with when they make the first step of visiting a service. You’ll help them to feel at home, understand what their journey will look like, and set positive goals to work towards.

Change Grow Live has many different types of services across the country – our administrators and data teams play a crucial role in making sure every one of them is running smoothly and everyone we see is receiving the highest quality of support. Accurate, up-to-date information about our services and the people who access them is a vital part of what we do. In one of our data roles, you’ll be helping us to understand what support people need, and the most effective way to make sure they get it.

As a member of our clinical staff, you’ll be providing people with vital healthcare and support. The people who access our services are especially vulnerable to a range of health challenges, and you can help them to find stability and make positive choices. We have lots of different clinical roles available – from providing people with testing, treatment and vaccinations for blood borne viruses, to managing people’s medication and treatment plans.

Our homelessness and street outreach teams work with people who are unhoused or street homeless. As a street outreach worker, you’ll be bringing support directly to the people who need it. You’ll take a flexible approach that meets the needs of underserved communities in a way that works for them. Our outreach teams have run late night drop-in sessions for people sleeping rough, supported people in distress, and helped to build trust between police and women who are sex working.

We have lots of services across the country that support children, young people and families affected by a range of health and social challenges. Our services help people to overcome these challenges in many different ways – from helping young people stay safe at festivals and Pride marches, to one-to-one support for young children affected by an adult’s drinking or drug use.
