Our Great Yarmouth hub in Norfolk now has a group specifically for members of the local Lithuanian community.
We noticed there was a demand for specialist support and so we set up the group in response.
Everyone is welcome at our service, and we want to make sure we reach out to everyone who could benefit from our support.
The group covers anything from harm minimisation advice, to cycles of change, managing and addressing triggers, cravings and the pros and cons of using.
This session runs every other Friday at 2pm. If you'd like to get involved, please speak to your key worker.
Our Outreach and Engagement Workers are actively promoting the group among the local community, including with people who are rough sleeping.
We are working with Capita to provide an interpreter for these sessions, and making sure it's the same person each time, to provide consistency to the people who come along.
We are also hoping to introduce these sessions in other areas of the county, where there is a need.
If you are attending our service in Norfolk and you have any suggestions for new groups or activities, please complete a suggestion form in the service, or leave feedback via our online form.
