The Domino Effect

The Domino Effect is an inspiring project created by our Manchester-based volunteers with lived experience. Drawing from their personal experiences of addiction and recovery, they have developed a passionate and compelling multimedia campaign, which we are excited to share with you. The project aims to raise awareness about the generational impact of addiction and to highlight the positive effects that recovery can have on families, friends, and communities.

The campaign, crafted through a series of creative workshops devised and delivered by Inspired Youth, includes:

A moving documentary. A film that captures the heartfelt stories of our volunteers, illustrating the challenges and triumphs of their recovery journeys.

A powerful song and music video. Featuring stunning footage of Manchester, this song and music video celebrates the community and the impact of recovery and the positive changes it inspires.

A series of posters. These posters highlight our volunteers' personal stories of achievement, emphasising the positive effects of recovery on individuals, their families and communities.

The project aims to show that through self-belief and with the help of supportive services like Change Grow Live, we can break the generational cycles of trauma and substance use, ultimately improving lives.

We are immensely proud of the artistic expressions and achievements of our volunteers.
