Warrington marks International Overdose Awareness Day

On 31 August we held an awareness event to acknowledge the people in our community who have been affected by overdose.

In our hub, there was a memorial tree and a remembrance book for people to pay tribute to friends and loved ones who are no longer with us.

We shared lots of information available about naloxone – the overdose reversal drug that helps save lives.

We enjoyed lots of delicious tea, coffee and cake, too - so thank you to everyone who came along and showed their support!
