Phil didn't use technology before. He lacked confidence and felt embarrassed when people tried to help. But suddenly, when the country went into lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, it was his only way of keeping in touch with people. He started using a laptop and gradually built up his skills. Now he's encouraging others to give it a go.
